Massage Services

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the most common and best-known type of massage in the West. If it's your first time at the spa or you don't get massage very often, Swedish massage is the perfect massage for you.

Swedish massage incorporates five individual techniques, which are used together to create maximum effect and benefit: long, smooth strokes; careful kneading of individual muscles; friction; tapping; and vibration.

Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu massage incorporates stretching, pressure points, and many other techniques to stimulate the bodies own natural healing response and address both energetic and physical imbalances. The main concept behind shiatsu massage is that chi energy circulates along channels or meridians in the body. When it flows freely, chi brings fresh, positive yang energy while carrying away negative yin energy, keeping an

individual physically, emotionally and spiritually well. Under this view, a nearly infinite number of things can disrupt the delicate balance of yin and yang, and as a result, chi can become diverted, rushed, slowed or blocked, causing problems in wellness.
Conditions such as sleeplessness, indigestion, swollen joints, headaches or depression are viewed not as sources of discomfort, but rather as symptoms of hyperactive, underproductive, blocked or misdirected chi. Practitioners of shiatsu or shiatsupractors assert that, by manipulating pressure points along specific meridians and relaxing the body, they can get energy back in balance and, therefore, treat numerous ailments.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep-tissue massage is a specific type of massage therapy that concentrates on the deep layers of muscle and fascia in the body. Deep tissue while not always paired with deep pressure is designed to address specific structures and injuries within the body by using deep finger pressure and slow, firm strokes, deep tissue massage is used to treat a variety of physical ailments.
It helps to increase the flow of blood through the body, helping with inflammation that causes pain and also helps alleviate muscle tension that is often a side effect of chronic pain, stress and tension, which can also have a beneficial effect on blood pressure.
Deep-tissue massage can help increase the body's production of serotonin, the hormone that promotes happiness and good feelings. This modality combines Trigger Point Therapy, Cross Fiber Friction, and Myofascial work to remove muscle scarring and break harmful patterns. This process helps the tissues of the body heal faster and more accurately than they would on their own.

Anti-Cellulite Massage

No matter which anti-cellulite massage technique you use. Our goal is to manipulate the skin and disperse fat cells beneath the surface of the skin. By doing this technique we can help you get a more evenly spread of fat cells instead of accumulating in one place and bulge out through the skin. This evens out the dimpled effect making the skin tighter and smoother.
